Bold Kindness Entertainment is a Christian Film Company based in Raleigh, NC. We are in the process of producing our first film, Dear Angry, a short film that ministers to the embittered and shows them the way to forgiveness. Throughout the production process, we'd love to have a world class site (see reference sites below) that provides information about Dear Angry, Bold Kindness Entertainment, and our progress. Since we're scraping together funds to do the project, we can't afford to hire a web team, but we can offer our volunteers an insider's view of the Christian filmmaking process, and an outstanding resume piece to show other clients.

Bold Kindness Entertainment is a media and entertainment company that believes that everything we see and hear affects us in some way. Some experiences encourage or strengthen us, while other ones leave us in worse shape for having encountered them. Bold Kindness wants its audience to be better off for having spent time with us. Bold Kindness seeks to, as the Apostle Paul put it, "build others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen".

Our aim is to create world-class entertainment that inspires as well as it entertains. To accomplish this we create and review our film projects to meet the following three criteria:
- It must be very entertaining and creative-not low-quality or "cheesy".
- It must be interesting and inspirational to mainstream audiences-not just Christian audiences.
- It must favorably showcase Christian virtues (e.g. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and others) through one or more characters or the story line itself.

Although our primary business is film production and distribution, we will sponsor or commission related books and license merchandise around our films. Comprehensive marketing and merchandising campaigns generally accompany our film productions. This helps spread the project's message as widely as possible and adds more sources of revenue (e.g. books, imprinted merchandise) derived from the same creative piece.

The Internet is also a key component of the company's strategy and will be used to deliver content, interact with the public, and sell merchandise. In addition to the webfront, traditional media (cinema, television) and retail stores will be employed.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Bold Kindness produces and distributes high quality, Christian virtues (e.g. love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control and others) short and feature-length films for mainstream audiences. Because most of our films convey a theme or address an issue, they will be released with accompanying merchandise to further the theme and its impact on the audience. These items will include movie soundtrack albums, professionally-authored books on the respective topics, free web-based tutorials on the respective topics, and merchandise related to the release-all delivered in an online format (e.g. downloadable music, books, etc.) as well as traditional media. Thus, all products and services fall into 5 categories: films, music, books, merchandise, and ministry.
