To whomever may be reading this: I am looking for someone who is capable of coding in Java and Open-GL. I am making my first game, its genre is both free and RPG plus it's a Christian game. It's about a man who is called by God to tell the world of God's love. Time setting is in around 3000 A.D. but everyone is dressed as in the Dark Ages with few Technological advances. (How this happened is more of a secret for another game.) This being my first game I know not where to start? As you can see I need much help and a lot of prayers. Please help me. In Christ, |

hey there If you're planning to start making a game may I suggest you sit down and think why you want to make a Christian game in the first place, its all very well making a game because it seems like a cool idea but without the right reason or drive it won't take off. Next sit down and think everything through, with a pen and paper (or keyboard) who is the character, whats his past his personality, if your making a Role-play game you need to have a role to play. In game tools, items other characters. What type of missions does he go on you'll need to think out a whole storyline to follow too. What about the game mechanics, how and why will things work is there multiplayer, why have the technologicial advances, do they serve a purpose, does the dark ages theme have a purpose? Get some concept sketches done. Once your'e sure you got everything right, stick it on a website, copyright your work if you want. Doing all of this takes time and effort, if it's not all thought out people won't be interested, programmers, designers and the rest won't be interested in a project that hasn't been well thought out. God bless Ian Ps |
