Well.. I've not really been here at CCN too long, but it's long enough for me to tell that there are some really awesome things going on here, and I feel a little left out...

I know that most projects are only exciting until the second day at work, but I'd still like to be involved in something here. I understand that this may not happen immediately: that's okay =) I would like to get into any project I can, preferibly a game. I am a programmer, I can work on the Gameboy Color (which is no longer supported by nintendo :[ ) and the Gameboy Advance, as well as the PC. For Gameboy/GB Advance I am fluent in the assembly languages of their processors, and on the PC, I know upward of 12 languages, including Assembly, C, PERL, basic, HTML, and others. I can learn languages easily also, which is good =)

Why am I posting this here? hmm. I don't have an answer.. I would start my own group, but I lack the organizational skills and knoweldge in that area (hey, I'm only 16, I can learn all that later =P)

Ok.. If anyone wants to 'absorb' me into their group, please contact me. I'm really interested in working on a game or something, and it would be just great if that game could lead people to Christ!

My long ramble comes to a close now...

You've got some great skills there Stephen.

I'd take you on, but at the moment I am not currently working on any games. (Just on Flash 3.0 Bible Guides)

My next project will be Sim Church, but that will probably only start happening next year.

Anyway, I'm sure that someone will snap you up.

(P.S. hehe... Another of the languages I do know pretty well is Flash... =P I'm not as good with it currently, as I haven't taken the time to just play with it a bit... )

Are you knowledgable about 3d math, MFC, 3d-engine architecture, sound, or game logic (AI, for example)? I am currently working on something, but I can't make any commitments about taking another programmer on board without quite a bit of thought. Anyway, just inquiring.

Thanks,
Mike Weber

3d math: yes
MFC: no
3dengine architecture -yes
sound -yes
game logic- some

further:
I would write a 3d engine if I had the time... without using reference manuals
I have written a modplayer just recently (4 channel converted protracker module mixer in ASM for the GBA).. I didn't used to understand sound, but now it makes perfect sense
I understand the theory behind game logic but I've never actually written anything that used it =\
About MFC: I haven't doen too much C programming, but I can.. I just prefer assembly language... so I haven't run into MFC at all.
