People don't think that there's Evel in Heaven, but this clip shows differently: http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=cf6a6e0e8731c72a0021 |

I know! Evel was every kid's hero in America in the 70's. He even had his own action figure. He was more known for his wipeouts than for his jumps. But the real thing that everybody loved was his bravery. He was truly fearless. And now, he's in Heaven. We'll get to talk to him! |

Hey, yo! I'm from MT, too. He was from Butte, Montana, for those who want to know. He had a big "1" on his jumpsuit that he wore when he jumped, and Butte's liscense plate is "1." So that's how the urban legend went in our neighborhood- he was from Butte because Butte was number 1. Anybody who knows anybody from Butte knows what a colorful place it can be. Butte pride runs high, and Butte is known as Butte, America. Every kid on my block jumped their bikes over everything they could. Friends would come screaming by "Jon's gonna jump 4 car tires!" and take off and you'd grab your bike to go watch him biff it on the pavement. I couldn't jump cause I had a saftey flag and a bannana seat. |
