My wife and I went to the Texas Renaissance Festival yesterday. Here's some pictures: New accessories! (I only had the sword hostler, everything else is new!) My wife in her sweet new hat! Hairband, in action: My cloak is versatile! My wife let me "borrow" the hat for a couple of pictures. I really want one of my own now! |

So, to complete my costume, I still need to purchase the following items: shirt pants boots belt So, still a bit to go before I have my entire costume, but I'm getting closer!!!! My wife is just starting to build her costume and she's wanting to be a pirate with flintlocks and everything! [This message has been edited by mastallama (edited November 04, 2007).] |

Schedules permitting, we're wanting to go back this weekend. Then, in April there's 2 we're wanting to go to: 1 in Oklahoma City, OK (about 15 minutes from my in-law's house) and 1 just south of Dallas, TX. I also found the local Society for Creative Anachronism group and we're discussing checking things out with them. |
