I recorded the following in my garage/studio last night. I have another version of each song without the rhythm guitar part that I've burned onto a CD to play with at church tonight...as I'm the only musician.

Blessed Be Your Name:

- This is the first time I’ve ever added a lead line to this song.

Open The Eyes Of My Heart:

- Guitar at end is kind of funny; I’m not sure what I’m actually going to do there yet.

How Great Is Our God:

- Very simple, drums added at 1:40

Let me know what you think!

You can tell that you are a bass player, some of the bass licks are killer.

Ah, yes, I see by the placement of your right hand, you are indeed a bass player. (Not that I couldn't tell by you telling us you were.) Hope no offense was incurred in the DL thread concerning guitar music.

oh no, no offense at all

I play bass, guitar, keyboard/piano, drums, trumpet, flugel horn, mountain dulcimer, auto-harp, and a couple of Chinese flutes. My guitar skills range from power-chords to some real chords (i can't play bar chords though, my left hand cramps up real bad, it's weird) and up to scale patterns and "boxes". My problem is I'm a very technical player so I usually follow a pattern...I can't just grab the instrument and wail off a solo or somethin' without some kind of order already laid out in my head.

I also recorded the song that's on my myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/mastallama - 2 guitars, bass, keys, drums and vocals.
