How many of you have heard of the rebelution? the rebelution, according to the official website, is "a teenage rebellion against the low expectations of an ungodly culture". more specifically, the rebelution is a christian ministry (started by twin brothers alex and brett harris) directed toward teens that challenges them to rebel against our ungodly culture's low expectations. they have a blog and a forum on their website. every year they do a tour across the country, doing conferences where they talk about doing hard things (do hard things, btw, is the rebelution's motto). i went to the very first one in march 2006, in nevada city, and it was very well-done. it was also packed! about 500 people showed up, including a family from georgia! the most recent, in indianapolis, had 2000 people from 20 states! as you can see, this has become very popular!

Wow, that must have been a long trip from "Hobbiton, Shire, Middle-Earth"...hee hee

This looks awesome! A really good friend of mine wants to do a huge "teen" event in the DFW area and again in the Houston area with me leading the worship and playing "show boss". We had originally talked about doing it April 2008 but it's been put on the back burner for a little while.

well it wasn't actually that long. nowadays in hobbiton, we have warp machines that warp us hobbit geeks to other times and places, so it only took about 2 minutes. actually i live in sacramento, so the drive was about an hour or so.
