nice. this game looks pretty edgy for a "christian" game.

Abatu looks sweet and the background lore is peaking my interest.

I'm excited.

Thanks hehe! We wanted to make a secular game that piques everyday people's interest in Christianity by having the moral set of Jesus and God guide events in the world---so basically evil is truly evil and good is truly good in this universe and the player actually has to make decisions that can have a huge impact on the fate of their character as well as related characters

Yeah man! Good job! This looks really interesting. I couldn't see the 1st movie on the Media page but the 2nd one was very cool!

Sweet thanks! Man sorry that first vid didn't work---I almost wondered if you didn't have Quicktime but that couldn't be it because the second vid worked---maybe try purging your cache data then reloading the page---that is probably a long shot but it is the only thing I could think of that *might* help hehe!

Hehe it has a lot to do with the ESRB not having a direct connection with Christian morals--so a Christian game with a M rating is very possible--if you think about it, if someone made a true-blue movie of the Bible it would be rated R easily.

The Passion of the Christ was rated R.

I thought it was rated PG-13? oh well... It's just very weird and misleading for Christian games to have an 'M' rating on it. If I were a random gamer who decided to look into Christian games and see it has a Mature rating on it, I wouldn't know what to think. I'd be very confused indeed. :P

Most people expect Christian games to be family-friendly and such (or at most, rated T), it's sort of bizarre and going against the norm, so to speak.

Yes, but remember that the ratings boards are not (generally) christian. So if they were 100% against any christian media they could give it all R/M/AO ratings but does that mean anything? not really.

Nothin' wrong with going against the norm hehe---they flat out crucified Jesus for going against the norm----the only reason going against the norm could be wrong is if you are doing it just for the sake of non-conformity--then it is shallow and idiotic but, in other cases, sometimes the best route is against the norm
