2000 dollar lap warmer – CPUFreak91

I got pretty chilled today during a cold spell in the weather so I turned the fans off to my Macbook Pro for about 2 minutes under a moderate load. When the CPU temperature reached 70 degrees Celcius I turned them back on and placed the MBP on my lap for a good 10 minutes and was quite warm

What useful things have you done with your computers recently that the computer wasn't intended to do?

would using empty cases for parts storage when your out of anti-static bags count? or using them as tables?

I took apart a hard drive and have the platters on my desk as a paperweight. No one has a clue what they are!

My Dad uses a hard drive platter as a mirror when he shaves.

my laptop functions a little more like a desktop though... I havn't taken it anywhere since I got it!
