LOL 7 rules no questions asked--can't wait for 13 and VS13---loved 10 and 10-2---thought 8 and 12 sucked. ------------------ |

I really like the music from 10 -- I really like the arrangements of it on OC Remix. |

quote: +1 I had fun with 12, but the older games are my favorites. IV owns in my book. Nobuo Uematsu is the reason I started to play Final Fantasy in the first place. I heard the soundtrack from VIII, bought the soundtrack from VIII, and started playing any of the games I could get my hands on. For better or worse, the music is still my favorite part of Final Fantasy. OC Remix can be hit or miss, but the hits are absolutely amazing. ------------------ |

i really liked 8 and its soundtrack. I WAS working on 12 but my memory card got corrupted so i lost everything. I liked the story and events in 12. It brought up moments that are a sign of a great game. gooood times.... ------------------ |

I haven't played an FF that I liked since VI (III in the US). FF X killed me with its ridiculously long cutscenes, that were beautifully rendered but otherwise lame (bad voice acting, meandering plot, etc). But the first 6 are golden. ------------------ |

I totally gave up collecting the series after 10. I'm now mostly an Old Skool FF fan. ------------------ |

I stopped liking them after the first one. But FF isn't exactly my cup of tea. I'm more into being able to choose classes, races, normal-non-overly-sized-and-stupid-looking swords. I also like FF tactics for the playstation, until i found the whole "preacher" skillset crap, and i despised it after that. ------------------ proverbs 25:7 www.gfa.org - Gospel for Asia www.persecution.com - Voice of the Martyrs |

I loved FF tactics (i love tactical games). Another good one with similar gameplay (lacking of the preacher job class) is Sukoden Tactics. Also, i believe Fire Emblem for cube is similar (i own it but haven't gotten around to playing it so i'm unsure still). ------------------ |

i purchased a N64 specifically for the FF franchise, only to have them go over the PS1! I was upset! I loved all the ones from NES and SNES but never played one on PS1 or PS2. |

Did you seriously ask that, Steve? Am I seriously about to respond? If Advent Children gets included in your list of acceptable FF sources, I would have to go with Tifa: ------------------ |

Lightning from FF 13----I like female characters who are just as bad @$$ as their male counterparts---to me it is cool to have a heroine hehe (HEAVENLY SWORD!!!)---Yuna is a close second--she isn't as overt bad-a but she is a cool, complex character and really tied the whole FF-X saga together well. ------------------ |

KH was amazing! I haven't gotten around to playing the first yet but KH2 was styling some pretty neat effects like the tv static one near the beginning and oh no... i just realized that my KH2 saves got wiped out too! ....ugh... ------------------ |

FFX they speak english?---all localized games get translated from Square Enix..... Anywho---I hated the Roxas part in KH2 (the tutorial)---it was too long--but still excellent story telling tho I love KH--and it is the KH2 team doing FF VS 13 heck yeah! ------------------ |
