Welcome all to my classic game reveiws. Now the reason I'm doing reveiws for classic games is to give ya'll a little taste of yesteryear.time to get started.

Today,I'm gonna do 2 reviews. The first one is the game that Started the Whole Horror-Adventure Game Genre.

Name: Castlevania.
Company: Konami
Release Date: ??/??/87.

Vampire Hunter Simon Belmont Must Kill The Evil Count Dracula to save Transylvania.

The Game itself is Great, despite being strait foward.Battle all kinds of Monsters in Drac's Huge Castle using your trusty whip. Find hidden Items,Weapons, and upgrades for your whip. Despite it's Simple objective, this Game is HARD. The Stages are not that bad,BUT,the Enemies can knock you back when they hit ya...especialy into pits if your near them.

This is what the Castlevania series was like before it turned into Major Crap after Symponey of The Night for PS1.

The Graphics were good. The Sound was also good. The Game Controlls were Great. The Music was both great and memorable{especially vampire killer}. The Challange of this game is Great..this game is Hard. The FunFacter of this Game is good. And the Replay Value is Ok.

The Best Version of this game to buy is the NES Version...It's the only one there is.

Next game stars the Greatest Super Hero of all Time.

Name: Mega Man.
Company: Capcom aka Crapcom
Release Date: ??/??/87.

Dr.Wily and his Reprogramed Robots are on a Rampage and now it's up to Mega Man to Stop him.

The Game itself is Great, despite being another strait foward game{infact most platformers are}. Select a Robotmaster and prepare to Battle through his stage with your trusty Plasma Cannon. Beat the Bot and You'll Get his weapon. Each Robot Master is weak against another RM's weapon. Beat the RM's and you will be able to raid wily's fortress.

This game Rocks. This game was the First in a long line of Megaman Games. This Game was Rereleased for PS2 and Gamecube as Megaman Anniverary Collection and Re-made for PSP as Megaman Powered up.The Fact that you can Select your stage and gain abilities from Robot Masters is what made this game Popular.

The Graphics,Sound, and Music were all Great.the Play Controll is Ok. The Challange of this game is Excelent..this game is another Hard one. The FunFacter of this Game is Good{crappy compared to furure megaman titles}. And the Replay Value is fine.

The Best Version of this game to buy is the PS2 Version...because you get more games.

That's all,later.

Never been a big Castlevania fan but I am considering picking up Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP when it comes out----it has a psudo 3D (plays like the old Castlevanias but everything is rendered in 3D like Smash Bros) remake of Rondo of Blood (the prequel to Symphony of the Night that was never released in the USA) along with the original Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night---I have been watching my friend play Symphony on his PS3 (you can download it for PSP or PS3 straight to the hard drive) and I am actually impressed--for a first generation PSone game it is way better than I would have guessed. The 3D ones faired well review wise---like between 7 and 9s---my friend has Curse of Darkness--it doesn't look bad although kind of reminds me a LOT of Devil May Cry.

And im a megaman fanatic,to bad capcom insisted on making unneeded sequals/spin-offs. Ryuusei no Rockman was Definitly unneeded.

That's debatable. Perhaps you could put your game reviews into your own personal blog, or at least keep them all in the same discussion thread.

The earliest Castlevania game hit Japan in '86 and the rest of the world in '87.

I don't totally mind personally---spam is personal promotion IMO this dude is just tryin to promote his fav old school games---I have only read a few but it is interesting to talk about these games and the sequals they spawned----yeah I think Capcom hasn't done anything uber major since Street Fighter Alpha 3---and don't get me started on Resident Evil---I used to be a hardcore RE freak until they decided to abandon EVERYTHING that was in their story canon---I might play 5 but nothing has jumped out and scremed I should absolutely do so. And Devil May Cry? It was good for 1 and 3---but I am kind of nervous about 4---their decision to go multiplatform seems to be a money decision---and their last DMC game that could have been argued a money decision (DMC 2, which basically took advantage of the steam of DMC1 as opposed to actually moving anything forward) sucked royal--so if DMC4 is only about making money then I think they will end up tanking it---LOL funny thing about money you can only really make a decent income if money isn't important to you---if you are die hard about trying to make it you will inevitably fall short--kind of like the verse 'Seek God first then everything else will be added to you'.
