Has anyone seen this new show on the SciFi channel? http://video.scifi.com/player/?id=134389 What do you think about mind control? |

YOU WILL MAKE A GAME FOR THE SPEEDGAME CONTEST The video link says it's no more. I think mental oppression is a terrible abuse. It takes years for mental deprogramming from either it be mind control, brain washing or mental abuse to be reversed. I know from personal experiance with friends and family members, it's really heartbreaking. |

weird, it still opens for me. The video link was found on the TV Show's page: http://www.scifi.com/derrenbrown/ If I watch the spinny gif long enough I never see the lag, it turns into a constant spin and when I look away I see a "negative" spinny thing on the wall...hee hee, cool! That's pretty awesome. I especially liked the one where he asked a guy for some direction, his watch, cell phone, and house keys. Then when the guy figured it out he gave them back and then said "I'll just take the spare then eh?" at which point he took everything again. On the point of mind control. You'll notice his tricks don't always work and he always has to do those types of trick in hectic situations when people are confused and distracted. It's the same tricks the world will use on you. Gives you some additional motivation to think on people's motives before doing what they ask of you without thinking. |

I watched the show as well... was very intruiging... especially the part you mentioned, with the 4,500 ring. ------------------ |

I find it interesting from a more psychological standpoint, where he puts in subliminal clues while distracting the person's conscious mind. When he's giving the paper money, he's in constant conversation, asking for directions and making the person think about something other than the money while talking about his friend telling him to take the subway. ("take it, take it take it") ------------------ |
