Sounds like an oxymoron, unless of course you consider slackware and hand tools equivalent

I'm not a big fan of those types of Ubuntu variants. GNUSense isn't religious so I don't have a problem with that, but Ubuntu Christian Edition and Satanic edition? The Christian Edition doesn't even have the kill program any more because the creators don't like the idea of killing processes because it breaks one of the 10 commandments.

You mean Lo Tirtzach translated "Thou shall not kill" or more accurately "Thou shall not commit murder." or more precisely "Thou shall not shed innocent blood." Translating that into kill rather than murder is a gross oversimplification. The reason some translations use kill instead of murder is because Tirtzach most closely means taking an innocent's life, while murder implies premeditation. Tirtzach also includes accidental killings of the innocent; which I can only assume was intended to prevent people from doing stupid things like shooting arrows straight up in a village.

Kill is all encompassing but is too general since many jewish laws require killing people and animals. Unless you somehow think sacrificing animals and stoning people to death is not killing.

Good points.
We should email the UbuntuCE creators and tell them that.

I don't think it's true that there is no kill command. The only place I saw that was on a blog called ubuntu CE facts. and at the top of the site it says that the blog is a joke.

Hrmm. They must have changed that "policy" in the year since I last visited their site.
