vista 64 bit – bennythebear

i was wondering if anyone here has been using the 64 bit version of vista? i'm building a new system and i'm condsidering getting the 64 bit version of vista for it and i was wondering how many problems i can expect to occur? i'm not extremely worried about it though, because i'll prob'ly be dual booting with xp.

Well... for one it's made by Microsoft.. so you will have problems :P
Are you going to get a 64bit version of XP? Or are you just going to use the 32-bit version?

n00b question.. but do you have to have a 64bit cpu to run a 64bit os?

i'll just be using the 32-bit version i already have. the hardware is more a of a massive upgrade than a brand new system. don't worry, i'll be trying some 64-bit versions of linux out too.

You'll find that Linux has already done many of the graphic things that Vista has given us.

You might want to use linux first.
