About 2 years ago, I posted a level on this forum and you guys gave me feedback. I would like to thank you for that. Some of the feedback was negative, but most was positive. I'm hoping now to release this game later this year or early 2008. Some screenshots are at the links below. Hi Mack, It's going good bro... Here is one of the songs that they dance too. One of the Rebel Planet guys tested it and he said the first time he played it, he was laughing real good. That is a good sign. There is a publisher in europe that is interested. ------------------ |

Welcome back, RA! I remember your posts a while back, the new screenshots look good! I don't know how many publishers you've talked to, but you might consider contacting the guys over at Digital Praise, but at least two of their games (Light Rangers and Solomon Says) were developed outside of the company and submitted to them for publication. Even if you submitted your game and they didn't accept it, you would likely get some good feedback from them (it's helped me in the past). Looks good! I hope it goes well for you. Are you planning to showcase your game at this year's CGDC? Cheers! --clint |

Welcome back, RA. I don't remember you from before, but I checked out your screnshots. It looks like you've got a good thing going for you. Some of the screenshots look downright hilarious. I don't feel like I'm stepping out of bounds by saying that the screenshots look a bit dated, but I don't think that will be a problem if the game is solid (which it looks to be). Good work on the whole! ------------------ |

Hi, LOL Thanks David. Thanks everyone! Yes, I plan on attending this years CGDC. Here are some recent screenshots below and I just added 2 more creatures to the mix. http://www.noahsadventures.com/images/dance7.jpg HELLO EVERYONE! Meet: Here is another song below that the creatures love to dance to. lol Now, the screenshot at the link below shows the "mouse paw" cursor near the sheeps head. That is because each creature is "Clickable". After you click on them, they go into solo mode and the spotlights all go on them alone. http://www.noahsadventures.com/images/dancefloor.jpg This is only the "Creature Party", however.
We can add shaders and models and things later though. Thanks everybody for the comments. ------------------ |

I'm glad you didn't take offense to my comments! I fully understand what it's like to be a programmer and not an artist. If you went browsing through my work logs (the website in my signature, or the weekly updates thread here), you'll know what I mean. I can't commend you enough for wanting to make up for the graphics with great gameplay instead of settling for gameplay that's merely ok. You were at the CGDC before? That's great. Hopefully you'll be able to make it again; there's a lot of good information and encouragement to be found there. ------------------ |
