So yeah... I'm new, and this was the only section I found that i could post this in.

Anyhoo, I guess that I'll give you a short run down of myself.

I love to act and write, with a side of filming. Right now, I'm most interested in acting. But writing's very big, too.

I get a little random and crazy sometimes, so fear not!

I hve a wide-range of favorite music genres. Rock, Celtic, Movie Scores, etc. My favorite band at the moment is Hawk Nelson.

Ahem...

I'm very involved in the media, and watching movies is a bad habit of mine...

Oh, and I am a Christian.

I come from the land of CCGR, if you must know.

That's pretty much it...

Well when i was in highschool someone sold me a box of 48 waffles for like $5 or something. Please don't ask why someone sold me a box of 48 waffles.
Anyways, so in the morning, a few friends and i decided to chuck them at each other like frozen frisbees. Killer time. but then one of the teachers saw it and decided to take the waffles away from us (the waffles we had out, not the whole box ). Little did he know, we had a box of 40 more! By the end of the day they got soft and soggy... so i took them outside and started a massive waffle fight in the parking lot awesome times!

Hey Waffle! Welcome to CCN! We're glad to have you here, we like a lot of the CCGR guys, and we're glad to have another person bridging the gap.

Hawk Nelson's got some very good music, and they've got some fun tracks of theirs on Dance Praise that I enjoy.

Welcome to CCN! Tell us a little more about yourself? Are you a programmer? Game designer? Artist?

What do you like to write about?

Wow... Got a lot to catch up on.

Of course, Laz my boy. CK? CAHF? :P

Thanks for all the compliments on my name and avatar, BTW.

Ha, Jes! Reminds me of a cake fight I had once...

Hawk Nelson's first CD is better than their second, IMO. Though The Show is a great song.

Why did I join, you ask? Well, Lazarus mentioned this site a couple times, and I got interested.

Well, I - uh... Ahem... I'm not really a programmer. I stink at coding. I aspire to be a proffesional actor, and maybe even a author. I have a active imagination (according to friends and family), I am an avid reader, I love words, and so on and so on.

To jari: I like to write about many things. Mostly fantasy fiction. But I also like to write poems, history fiction, and thrillers. Pretty much every genre.

Laz said his name was "Count_Krazy" so it's only natural to think of Count Chocula...or the Count of Monte Cristo... but he doesn't have his own breakfast food now does he? (The sandwhich doesn't count as breakfast food :P)

And besides, after all these years the Captain hasn't been promoted to an Admiral?? He must not be very good at his job but because he's a union worker they can't fire him.

that'd explain why Captain Crunch's cereal doesn't scare all the small children away.
nobody's scared of a Union Pirate. they're too lazy.

Lazarus isn't the only one to talk about CCN, is he? My bad. I thought I spoke of this fine website more than that. Well, welcome aboard anyway, CK... er... Waffle.

You may not be a programmer now, but hang around here for long and that may change. There's a lot of room for creativity, and you can get into game development fairly simply if you get something like the Torque Game Builder. Or, if you're into legacy Final Fantasy style games, there was an RPG Toolkit (I think that that is actually its name) that wasn't very code heavy, but allowed for decent console-style RPG development.

I believe it's open source, actually, and Visual Basic-based for anyone interested in seeing how the creators went about their work.

Dang... I should've thought of Count Chocula... :P

Let's see... My favroite history fiction... Well, it's hard for me to find many good ones, but I like a wide range. I like World War II fiction, and also stuff involving the blacks during the time when they were persecuted.

Well, Xian, I do have something called RPG Maker XP - Postality Knights Edition ENHANCED. But then I found out that it's an illegal copy, so yeah... I had no idea that it was. Really. Honestly.

So I suppose that I should just let this topic die, because it's sort of full of spam now... O_o
