what is even more sad is that I want that case---it is actually a REALLY cool idea--makes DVD shopping more fun--but some sneaky feeling tells me the first people that will jump on that are those who need some sort of gimmick to sell a movie because their movie sucked----but still tho the inner geek in me knows if I saw 2 different cases of the same movie with all the same features I would go for the one with the glasses LOL

theres ways around content filters you need to find a site that embeds a browser in it (it just forwards the content) or something like that.

Well yeah the whole rule of buying good movies only still applies, but still if that is accenting a good movie it is a good geek gimick LOL---never wanted to see Stealth but the gimick that pushed its' UMD release (the UMD came with a special demo version of WipeOut where yo ucan drive the stealth plane along the tracks) almost made me want to rent it, but the suckiness of the movie kept me away

Good news Spade (and others with content blocking systems)... just like with Myspace, you're not missing that much in that IGN article. It just has a picture of a concept box that has a set of lenses in the bottom you look in to view different slides of the movie in 3d. It's meant to be a gimmick to sell more copies -- it's interesting, but nothing worth circumventing a proxy for.

Getting around proxies during college got me into more trouble than I would have liked, and it was a bad habit to get into.

So anyways, yeah -- even though the site isn't all that bad, it's not that great, and you're not missing much.
