Ok, I'm posting my first ever showcase and I set it to "Show Entry" but it doesn't show up and it's not in my "Manage Entry" list either. What's the deal????

Here's the link: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_showentry.pl?id=mastallama12022006194742&comments=no

Hiya,

I fixed this, but the problem is rather odd.

All the entries that have been made over the past months have all gone into the proper database and such, except for yours.

About 2 years ago I moved the showcase from the /showcase directory to the /sc directory. Until just now, nothing has been written over to the /showcase directory.

This has me concerned that there is a bug somewhere that allows the posting back into the /showcase directory.

Can you let me know the steps you took to create this entry please so I can try and figure this out so it doesn't happen to anyone else?

This link: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_showentry.pl?id=mastallama12022006194742&comments=no

Is supposed to be: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/sc/showcase_showentry.pl?id=mastallama12022006194742&comments=no

Sorry for the problem.

On that note, the 37th page of the "Girls, what's in the world is going on" thread is acting up. Clicking on it's page number results in CCN going to a page with nothing on it.

Gashp!

Edit: I see Arch posted there. Is he able to access it or is that a post made the same way I made mine? (without being able to get to the last page)

Tried rebuilding that topic but it's not working. Sorry about that. I'll close the topic and you guys will just have to start a new one called Part 2.

Hey Krylar,

Here's what I did:

1. Clicked "Enter Showcase Main Page" on the CCN Homepage.

2. Showcase main page said "You do not appear to be logged in to the Showcase. Please login below." So I logged in there.

3. Then I clicked the "Add An Entry" link.

Now, when I just checked the source of the page, all the links are in the /showcase directory. Looks like your login script redirects to the wrong folder.

Click Here For The Showcase Main Page!: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_frontpage.pl
Add an Entry: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_addentry.pl
Manage My Entries: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_myentries.pl
Edit Profile: http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_profile.pl
List All (With Images): http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/showcase/showcase_listimages.pl?id=*&genre=*

How else can I log into the Showcase section of the website?

Hope this helps.

Shouldn't we just call the new one "Spam" (But then we could never Spam a subject called spam)?

I don't hate spam, it just gets frustrating sometimes when people exessively talk about the spam in a thread not for the spam. I still spam myself. (Or rather off-topic)

The thread is closed, and we're able to see the 37th page now, so I'm wondering if he reopened it if we'll be able to post in it and view it again.

Actually your problem is fixed, its just up to the helping others so they don't have the problem. The Girls is fixed, but its still locked. I no like the new one, I'm going to stay away from it, and hope it dies.
