Yea, but look at the shipping, its WAY over priced, even for overnight. Thats where they are making most of the money, still a great deal.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday PS3 and Wii prices are insanely high. One sold for $2300 USD!!! (With only 2 games and 1 controller)

I wish I could have bought that cheap PS3.

Well most of the ones that sold well had games with them.
This looks like just the system so I guess it slipped through the cracks.
I haven't seen any review from the buyer yet, I wonder if the guy
is going to take the $440 hit and actually send it to him.

What's sad is you hear about these riots like in Wisconsin over the ps3,
and it seems like most just wanted to get the system so they can
sell it for more. But this is just one example of it not always
working out how you may think.

I wonder if the seller might not have noticed the decimal point....

ouch...that's why the bible says never to brag about how you're going to do this or that and make gain, but to say "if it's God's will, i'm going to do this or that." ...there's never a sure thing.

Yeah terrible is'nt it... I paid less than that for my car. £1300 over here in the UK, is what I would call cheap for a year 2000 Vauxhall Corsa. I definately would not pay that sort of cash for a games console that would be out of fasion in the next couple of years.

Maybe you didn't actually look at the link. The winning bid was $9.99 with $50 for shipping.

It looks like whoever was selling it was not only greedy but impatient. He put it up for bid at nine in the morning and had the auction close at three in the afternoon. Maybe all the people that went to work to get the money to buy extremely overpriced PS3s off ebay were still at work.

steve, that's 1250 in american dollars, more like £600. (not actually gonna bother with a real conversion)

still, ridiculously expensive. with that money... I'd...

... yeah, I'd put that to pay off part of my car.
