Mene-Mene: Yeah, I first got onto VMK over the 4th of July. It's a good game -- I spent way too much time entering Pirate codes. I think I got 3 or 4 Jack Sparrow suits that I either gave or traded away. I don't have many/any rares on there anymore. It's a fun game, but it's sad for me to see how much of it is just pure Disney marketing. Everything about that game was created with the explicit purpose of getting kids to get their parents to take them to Disney World/Land so that they can get "VMK Exclusives". Seriously -- people going to DW/DL for the explicit purpose of finish VMK questionaires is an impressive piece of marketing on behalf of the Disney folks. VMK is actually why I started working on a browser-based casual MMO -- a friend of mine asked for help to start a Christian-based version of a game like that. I was playing with the idea of making it Javascript-based, and using DutchPIPE for the back-end and a Javascript isometric engine for the graphics. I got it through the concept stages -- I have all the pieces, I just need to put it all together at some point. Lots of fun opportunity there, I think it's an idea that still has a lot of merit. My isometric engine that I started on can be seen here. I made a browser-based outfit-customizer that I put online here. So yeah, maybe I'll pick it up again. I think my name on VMK is SuperCalvin, though I haven't logged on in months. Cheers! --clint [This message has been edited by HanClinto (edited November 06, 2006).] |

Anyway, I think I Guest19573023857303857300048976 or something, still waiting for my name approval. I just want to get back in and sink some more ships with my pirate ship |

The pirates game used to have a lighter atmosphere, but you only got like 60 credits, now I can get as much as haunted mansion! Much better game than Haunted Mansion too. I'm Level 2, but I mostly play Level 1. I mostly do Capture the Flag (Also new to the renovations) I used to use the Wicked Winch but now I use the Black Pearl. I'm HighKnightKirk, and that name was created after I played the pirates game. ------------------ |

Yay, a couple of other PotC fans on here. I'm a fan of CTF, and I normally play as a Wicked Winch. Though I've also started playing as the normal ship too (can't remember that name) -- it's nicely balanced for offense or defense, and the extra barrel of health is quite nice in standoffs. Maybe I'll log on to play with you guys sometime. --clint |

I'm off, usually I'm not that fast, but all I wanted to do was enter codes, and I was called for Dinner. ------------------ |
