no no no. the avatar contests were where you *made* a new avatar for the theme of the contest. you couldn't get one off the net or anything, you had to make it. and you couldn't use your actual avatar.

ok, try to create a project, modify it's info and then delete it. if you get an error, try again, i'm still coding just a bit. This is just Tier 1 of the program. ------------------ |
Lava Member Posts: 1905 From: Registered: 01-26-2005 |
Ok, I created a project. Added info, version # and name. It created the project, but I could't view it. ------------------ |
MastaLlama Member Posts: 671 From: Houston, TX USA Registered: 08-10-2005 |
ok, Add/Modify/Delete of Projects works. I'm working on Files now. Also, if a project is deleted all files are deleted too! Does that sound right? Otherwise, they'd be lost because they can't be reassociated with another project. |
Lava Member Posts: 1905 From: Registered: 01-26-2005 |
Yeah that sounds right, unless you want to have uploaded files and created projects on their own separate lists that the person who uploaded the files and projects can manage. ------------------ |

no, too complicated, besides, i'm actually creating folders on the server for each project to save the files in...well, not too complicated, more like i'm not willing to spend the time to code it that way...hee hee Also, each file has a version # too, so a project version # doesn't have to change everytime you update a file either and you can list older versions (with a different file name file2.1.exe and file2.1a.exe).
