Mozilla Firefox is officially out today. Should people wait untill they have more plugins, extentions, and for them to find all the bugs?

Or did IE 7 become in some ways better than firefox?

IE 7 won't be any good until after at least 2 service pack updates...that's just how M$ rolls.

*bows before the great fox of fire

this isn't blasphemous is it? oh well.

thanks for the link, warsong.

Edit: so I'm on F2 now.
seems a bit faster, but I need to try around a little more to make sure.
my plugins and extensions are still here.. that's cool.

but one thing I have noticed:
There's a spell check for the textboxes!
a little red underline goes under misspelled words, right click it and it gives possible "correct" spellings, along with an "add to dictionary."
complete awesomeness.
I wonder how many typos this will solve...

I am so going to have put a Mozilla type easter egg in my game.. like some spell that unleashes a legion of foxes on fire. or have some character named Mozilla.

hmmm....

Firefox might save the internet with this one feature.

Netscape--> Mozilla--> FireFox!

w00t!!!!!

IE 7 better? ha. the only way IE would ever be better than Firefox is if it was IE version 777777777, and Firefox never released another version after 2. and IE would still only be barely better.

Spell check? sweet. gotta DL it... GOTTA DL IT!!

Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin?

Someone say my name? I'm not so sure about Tekel though, seeing as I don't know how you're supposed to weigh programs.

Because, IE7 was weighed in the balances and found wanting, its days are numbered.
If you read the following verses translating the writing on the wall it's all there... well not IE but it fits pretty well lol

Have been using Firefox 2.0 for only several days but I have to say I really like it. The tabs got a nice upgrade, both look and functionality.
If you also count all the add-ons (some of which are quite useful) I'd say Firefox 2 beats IE 7.

found the FireFTP add-on, an in-browser ftp. really convenient. probably gonna drop WiseFTP for it.
