** Choice listening while coding **

"I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak..."
=======================================================
Lyrics to:

"Supernatural"-- by dcTalk (*need this MP3? -- please contact me at nevermorenyc@yahoo.com)

This worlds a tortured place to be
So many things to torment me
And as I stumble down this road it takes a toll
These days and nights I turn to you
No human hand can pull me through
No cosmic force or magic brew will ever do

But I can see it coming
Youre not so far away
cause I can feel your power
Surging through the whole of me

(chorus 1)
God is there and he is watching
He tells me all is well (its supernatural)
God is there, theres no denying
Hes supernatural (its supernatural)
Supernatural

Beyond this physical terrain
Theres an invisible domain
Where angels battle over souls in vast array
But down on earth is where I am
No wings to fly, no place to stand
Here on my knees I am a stranger in this land

I need an intervention
A touch of providence
It goes beyond religion
To my very circumstance

(repeat chorus 1)

(chorus 2)
God is there and he is watching
The signs are everywhere (the signs are everywhere)
God is there, theres no denying
Its supernatural (its supernatural)
Supernatural

(bridge)
In six days, the universe was made
Supernatural
And from the dead a man was raised
Supernatural
They say he walked across the waves
Supernatural
And Ill believe it to my grave

But I can see you coming
Youre not so far away
cause I can feel your power
Surging through the whole of me

[yeah, yeah, yeah]
[god is supernatural]
[yeah, yeah, yeah]

(repeat chorus)

[some things just cant be explained]

I used to listen to that back in my Visual Basic days.
still reminds me of the VB4.

in my last coding session, I did the asian hacker thing and played techno.

tomorrow... maybe instrumental. some good Hans Zimmers.

or perhaps some Nightwish.

choices, choices.

Asian+Hacker=even possible?

Perhaps if an asian were to take a long enough break from StarCraft and their imported cars. :-p

dude... asians own the technical world.
go to any Computer science or engineering class. it's half asian. half indian. with a couple white dudes.

but I do hate their imports.

And why is that? Because all the other whites are at home playing Rainbow 6...

Asians have restricted internet access but you can't seriously say where the most skilled people are and what their skin color is. I do wonder a bit what all the russians do though. It's huge country, but quite poor. And this of topic...

Matty, I would like to hear the mp3 but are you sure it's freely distributable?

Jari, we're referring to asian americans.

Yeah, I wouldn't know anything about the college level arch. I mean, the Indian dudes are a given. But from my experience in high school, theres two kinds of asians. The really intelligent ones who whisper if they talk at all, so I almost never see them; and the "hair gel" people who walk around in a big group speaking Korean. (Most asians where I live are Korean).

It's sad that "white" people as a general group are less and less involved in the tech fields.

I don't mind Asians entering the tech field, its just another example of what you get when the family has yet to disentigrate, good students =D. As for the hispanics, I've seen one guy who even looks like a 'good' student all the others look like gangsters, and I havent seen one in an honors class or AP yet...

they're all two different types of asians in america.
the first and second gens, and the third gens.

first and second still have their parents pushing education on their children. they do well in school and their jobs because they had to.

by the third generation, this wears out, so your stuck with gamers, ricers and "gangstas."
they suck.

and crazishone, koreans are less like this than the vietnamese or filipino.
I know this, cuz I am korean, and I live around alot of vietnamese and filipinos.
and on a side note, vietnamese girls are hot.

back to the subject, it's really culture that determines what race gets where. the only reason their are tons of asians and indians (and yes, I exaggerated, their are plenty of whites in tech fields...) is because it's important in the culture. indians are drilled in math and tech early on. asians kids are pushed to study hard. korean schools were unbelievably intense. I aced college calculus in highschool, and I was still behind asian math. and what do I think when I have friends, my age, taking remedial algebra?
an asian parent will pour on you the horrors of poverty if you don't study hard enough. A stands for acceptable in the asian grade book and B is not good enough. they aren't necessarily naturally smart. they're just dedicated.

Yeah. Don't know what else to say to that really, you covered everything and were entirely right, as far as I can see.... so....no debate to be had...

So yeah. Time for food.

Amazing (bewildering) how a simple post about a song about God turns into a debate (if you can call it that) about "races", video games, and what nations girls are "hot". Wow.

definition of DEFILE:

# place under suspicion or cast doubt upon; "sully someone's reputation"

# tarnish: make dirty or spotty, as by exposure to air; also used metaphorically; "The silver was tarnished by the long exposure to the air"; "Her reputation was sullied after the affair with a married man"

# foul: spot, stain, or pollute; "The townspeople defiled the river by emptying raw sewage into it"

Guys:

HeHe-- you are very funny with the type of humor I am used to and embrace myself (much tooo much) -- SARCASM!

But, really, I do not mind topic-jumping, really, it just seems like, well, I take *certain things seriously But then again, maybe I should "lighten up"? :|

And, I ADORE robots, bots, androids, and A.I., so, your hint at this is taken as a sheer, joyous compliment!!

Cheers and thoughts of Jesus' return,

Ah that makes sense.
Well I talked to one asian american Christian once who has his own site (and a good one). But I'm not saying anything about what asians, black and white people do and where.

"asians, whites and indians, oh my"

so, Han, you married to a korean? lol. good luck.
they have personality. not a weak set of women.
I personally have been scared out of going for a korean. lol.
but, I know little enough about viet chicks to go for them.

anyhow.. other races?
well, for white chicks, I'd say American is best. a mix of all the other europeon races. quite good, imo.
but, I generally prefer more eastern europeon.

the more the mix, the better looking they tend to be.
biracials have a higher percentage of being attractive.

gene variety is key.

Nah -- not really married to a Korean. She's pretty much American culturally and personality-wise even though she certainly understands Korean culture pretty well.
