Well, I doubt ill get the 360 (halo 3.. bubuy... *insane crying* because the revolution looks so dang cool! I see it like this. The 360 is the cure for skinny people, and the Wii is the cure for fat people. The 360 lets you lounge like crazy. You can not move for 2 days and beable to turn on and off your xbox from your controller. The Revolutions new remote-style isn't an excercise tool, but at least your moving!!! I'm looking from a gamers perspective, as well as a Programmers. The controller must put you that much more into the game! Now i want ot buy the Revolution (I belive Wii comes free with it) but whens it coming out? And how much is it supposed to be? ------------------ Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right. Ok, first off the Wii and the Revolution are the same console. Wii is just the offical name, but I am sure you knew that, it just didn't sound like you did. Second, Nintendo said that the Wii will not be much more than their previous consoles, $200, and they also said that it will be less expensive than Xbox 360 ($300-$400) or Ps3 ($500-$600). So even though it's not settled, it will be between $200 and $300. When is it coming out? The 4th quarter of this year, so basically like between October to December. Just in time for Christmas. Yeah, i just found out its coming out on like the 9th of december. HOWEVER... i Also found out that many of their games are only 1 player-cabable! What the heck?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I have 2 brothers, and they definently would like to play too! I'm not going ot get it untill they get a game where atleast 3 people can play at the same time... I mean, they have controller ports for gamecube controllers, let us all play! how it is supposed to be "We" if yoru sitting in your garage alone!!?!? With all the Mario Party games, Smash Bros, and so forth, I think Nintendo is well aware of the success of fun multiplayer games. However, the vast majority of all games on all consoles have always been single player. It's just that the fun multiplayer games tend to be much more difficult to make although generally more successful. ------------------ |

Where did you hear about multiplayer only games and the 9th of Dec as a launch date? Because that is all new to me. Yeah I just to went to the site and it has it on their games. Interesting, either it's speculation, inside information or it's false information. Ooh yeah, I'm gettin' a Wii. Droolin' here, myself  . Not only for the games, but just think of what it would be like to develop for that puppy! I'm on an imagination high lol. lol, here I am yet again going on about game consoles... let me first say that I bought a 360 a couple months ago, and the graphics are utterly breathtaking, not only that but the AI capabilities are limitless, at least seemingly so [with Oblivion at least]. The controller has not changed, which is good, and the price, although higher then consoles used to be, it is still affordable. I HIGHLY recomend getting a 360. I saw Fight Night Round 3 or 4 for it at Wal*Mart, and man... I have never seen such a realistic fighting game... I mean I felt as if I was in complete control of the character... as if I WAS the character... Now to go on about the PS3... 600+ dollars to get the system, and 100+ dollars to get a game... a release date of the 4th quarter of this year... not GREAT games to be launched at start... lied about the Tech Specs... announced them to be unearthly, but then changed them and they are just barely the same if not under the 360... just more of them... They use the new and impressive *sarcastic* blueray discs... which are so DARN expensive... *rollseyes*... and it is made by Sony... Microsoft is SOOO much better... Anyway... to move on to the Wii... I just want to ask the creators of it one question... Why change the "Revolution" [Which sounds so cool] to the "Wii" [which sounds SOOO lame]? Anyway... the controllers are very inovative, which is nice... too much excersize for any SERIOUS gamers... you know the ones who play games for hours... I mean having to actually play tennis is ridiculous, not only that but the motion sensitivity is only partial, because it is not affected COMPLETELY by EVERY move you make... just certain actions... On to the games... they are lacking graphics, I mean the games they showed at E3 were horribly crappy graphics... I expect Nintendo will use the motion sensitivity just like they used the DS's touch screen... which they didn't... not very well at least... Nintendo tends to stick with Mario... which is the lamest character of all... I mean he has done everything... NINTENDO GET A NEW MASCOT!!! Anyway... they are on Mario Party 1000, lol... close enough, but they never add enough to make it worth a sequel... so yeah Wii is going to be better then the PS3... mostly due to price... and i would like to own it eventually, but my advice would be to go with the 360... a MUCH better and more quality console... Not trying to flame on people's opinions I promise, I am just stating my views on the three consoles of this generation of the Console Wars. SO yeah...
