Just a short video of Fire Blitz in action...
Yeah, nothing really exciting in part one... But still, something
(Yes, that's my "kid-ish" voice...)

Very cool. Will it work even if the user only has a trial version of Blitz(whatever version)?

Sounds like a dumb question, but I have seen it be an issue before.

EDIT: I'd also like to add that I think it's good that you make apps rather than strictly games.

No Blitz needed...
It's it's own language.

Can't really say when. I want to iron out all the bugs (Such as deleting the text at startup.)

User-made functions? No.
Maybe I should have a way to have a funtions file to be read from? *ponders*

RM, dont say you're cursed. Say FM is blessed. :-P

FM- I think you may want to look into letting the user define functions, loops, and conditional statements.

Not sure how much time and effort this would take.

User-defined functions shouldn't be a problem, they'll be like in Blitz, again.

Loops, somewhat easy. (Look for "While", then look for "wend", parse the while statment, such as keydown(1), etc., and then just read all the lines in between and send them through the parser)

Now conditions, that's the hard part...

I can see why they might be, but heres an abstract thought.

For conditional statments, you need to store a boolean variable. (true or false, 1 or 0, etc). If{Then} and switches arent all that different than loops in their structure. An If{Then} conditional statement is basically just a while loop with a few things changed.

So really conditionals should only be as hard as loops and functions. You'll be throwing a true/false setup into your (engine?). When the parser comes across "If" it should look to the condition, evaluate boolean value, and return the results to whatever handles the "then" part of the conditional statement.

I don't know if that came out like I wanted it to. but it makes sense in my head.

Sorry there. I meant it is going to be hard to put the variables into memory and parse the condition correctly with operators. The keyword there is correctly.

Nice job so far, but just curious, is this your own language using only the syntax from blitz? In other words, have you made your own compiler? if so..WOW
You put me to shame too..

Anybody who like to try out the current version must email me ASAP. It will be limited though, I don't want to share it with the whole world just yet
