The CGDC is a great time! Not meant for the general public, but then, who is fits that criteria? The seminars are great, and the people are amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a reason to be there!

Last year was our first year at the CGDC, and my wife and I are going again this year -- we're really looking forward to it!

It was great to meet so many people who have common interests. I can't say for sure that it would bless you, but I know that I've been really blessed by it and it was one of the biggest hilights of last year for us.

In Christ,
clint

No problem, no hurry, I just wanted to make sure your email address hadn't changed or anything.

Ereon:
I'd encourage you to go anyway, if you're able. Last year people brought their games in all stages of development. It's a great place to make contacts. For example, Marc Thompson came, and all he had was a powerpoint pitching his idea and some concept art. Jerry Moore had an extensive design document and some concept art. Some people had a demo or a trailer. But there are others there who have no game of their own, but they have talents to lend, or critiques and encouragement to offer. Marc also happens to be a professional voice actor. There was this guy from Texas who owns a big professional sound studio; he would love to be involved with sound fx for somebody's game. A lady named Seher was offering to help people with design documents. Ralph Bagley was there talking about the Christian Game Developers' Foundation, whose mission it is to help raise funding & awareness for Christian games. John de Margheriti gave a *great* seminar on game development....the list goes on.
So, I just wanted to write and mention that it's a great place for getting support for a game that's in progress, or even just honing a pipe dream.
