Just a few rules too:

you won't be kicked out if you break any of these rules nessesarally (appart from the last one.)

you are out if you run out of hit points, run out of weapons (as in, you loose all your ammo), or give up. The winner is the last man (or woman) standing. (sorry for the cliche, oh, and sorry for all the brackets.)

Action: Noticing the extreme amount of fire coming his direction, Mitey activates his shield and hides behind its protective cover. The sniper shot and the grenade both impact the shield and Mitey is un-damaged, though his shield looks a bit abused for the 90 damage it absorbed. Gritting his teeth, he takes aim with his sniper rifle and unleashes a round on Tsurugi (40 damage if it hits).

Question: Does blocking those two attacks use up 1 use or 2 uses of my shield? (it was mentioned that the shield can block up to 5 for each use) Basically I'm wondering if my shield should be at 2/3 or 1/3, and if its current activation is finished or if it will block more shots as well? I think it should be at 2/3, and that it can't block any more attacks from that past usage.

Answer: According to Kiwee, this uses up 2, so my shield as of this point was 1/3.

Action: "Oh no, not again!" Mitey thinks to himself as he notices the smoking grenade coming in his direction. At the last moment, he activates his shield, though a second too late. The shield blocks most of the blast, but some shrapnel came through before he could get the shield up completely, clipping him for 15 points. Unsure of what to do next, he notices that AAA is back on the scene. He takes a thwack at her with his battle axe, which will do 20 damage if it connects.

If I were in a real battle, I'd be foolish to only attack my enemy's front lines and not attack his supply lines (because they can't hit back directly). Take out your enemy's supply lines *first*, or else you'll be fighting the front lines forever. This is basic tactics, dude. Read any Sun Tzu?

BTW, if much more time goes by you can probably attack me or someone else if you want -- I don't think that would be out of line for you to attack me before ArchAngel responds (after all, you're the only one who can attack for both you and AAA).

ArcAngel paused in his steps.. what was he doing?
the Arbiter's mumbling became louder as he lifted the rifle to his neck...
soon, ArcAngel heard what he was saying.. "dust to dust and ashes to ashes..."
suddenly, he screamed out with his last breath... "LORD! TAKE MY SOUL AND AVENGE THE UNJUST!"
with that, he pulled the trigger, ending his life and hitting ArcAngel with a 40 point hit.

Action: Taken aback by the near-simultaneous double-attack by Sir Smiley and G4C's ArcAngel, Mitey struggles to regain his footing. He notices his friend the Arbiter crumple to the ground, and Mitey quickly stoops to pick up the ammo pack that was tossed in his direction. He salutes his fallen comrade by opening the breach on his rifle and inserting another cartridge with a respectful and determined nod in his direction. Refocusing on the task at hand, he begins to chuckle softly amidst the pain at ArcAngel's battle cries. "Justice... justice..." he mutters, and aims the rifle at G4C's ArcAngel. "...what know thee of justice when your judgement is so blinded with love..." and pulls the trigger, 40 points damage if it hits.

Action:
Seeing Arbiter's lifeless body fall to the ground, ArcAngel takes the bullets fired in his direction and falls to one knee with tears streaming down his face, "Father, please forgive the pain I have caused... please forgive me..."

ArcAngel bowed his head and continued to cry, next thing he knew his Angel put her hand on his shoulder and gave him part of her healing bottle. After graciously accepting it he stood up and wiped his face.

He drew his sword and started to walk towards Mitey, then he heard a scream from behind him, when he looked he saw Ranting FM103 thrusting his axe into his Angel. His expression changed from sorrow to anger. He changed his direction to face Ranting FM103, and runs over to the sneak attack.

"Please, Lord forgive me of what I am about to do..." he says as he swings his sword at Ranting FM103's chest dealing 10 damage if hit.

"The life of a warrior is hard, he must do things he does not want to do... sometimes in the name of love he does lose his senses... but he must continue" he mutters as he accepts another healing bottle from the dying Angel, "I will avenge this pain and suffering... my beloved"

Action: Mitey is riddled with the barrage from BIL's minigun, and moves to retaliate. He quickly loads another round into his sniper rifle and moves to aim it at BIL when he suddenly realizes that his body is no longer responding to his will. In his mind's eye, he sees himself fall to his knees, and crumple to the ground. Amidst the grimace of defeat, there is a hint of a satisfied smile from the knowledge that he did the best he could, and that's all anyone could ask.

Edit: Okay, I read back through. It looks like at the top of page 2, you were at 40 HP and Cybob sniped you for those 40 hitpoints, killing you off.

Then you said that you used a health pack *after* you were dead, bringing you back up to 50 HP (at which point you killed me).

I guess I'm cool with that as long as everyone else is (Kiwee -- you make the rules). Noone caught this before, and I'm okay staying out. Personally, I think the way things turned out is just fine.

I can't see where anyone has attacked you since you did the whole resurrection thing, so apparently you're still at 50 HP.

As far as what Kiwee meant by "blocks up to 5 each time used", that hasn't ever been made clear, but as far as the way everyone else used their shields in this battle, they only got 3 blocks. I think ArchAngel's Arbiter got 2 shots with 1 block once, but he still only got 3 blocks, for a total of I think 4 attacks blocked. When I used mine to block 2 shots in the same turn, Kiwee said I had to use 2 charges on my shield.

Regardless, shields start at 3/3, not 5/5.
