I am helping a programmer make a game and we don’t have a name that everyone agrees on. I was wondering what people can come up with. I am also wondering about how the character looks.

The character is kind of a blue blob in the way it looks.
Some concept sketches can be seen here http://www.bluebubb.com/?p=kommer
This is another concept of the character http://www.bluebubb.com/images/tobbe1.gif

The name should be short, simple, remember able, relevant, and cute.
One name that they came up with is Bluebubb, but you can come up with what you think would sound better and describe it in a way.

Also what do people think of the character would you prefer the old, the new, or a variation and if so in what way?

The game is a 3rd person action adventure game.

What language is that first link in? Something Scandanavian, anyway. The graphic at the top of the page says "Blablobben" - you could shorten this to "Blobben", or make it into a verb, like "Blobbin'"

The language on the site is Norway.
Some interesting names
I typed them in google to see if they are original and not taken as well.

One problem with the original name Bluebubb is that I heard a news paper wrote it wrong to call it Blueblubb which as you see if paper got it wrong many will get it wrong and the game will not be memorable. Some might call the name Blue something if they can not remember the name.
