There's probably something on Amazon... checking up on that right now!! I (would be) new to Linux if I was starting to use it... But i like my games too much!! But... I guess I don't really play games too much... If this was my pc I would probably switch cuz we have other pcs and I just use this one for net surfing... DUNNO!! ------------------ |

For a good overall source I'd go to the Linux Documentation Project, http://tldp.org/. However the best source depends on which distrobution you're planning on installing. Red Hat's Fedora core has good documentation on their site. Gentoo Linux is the same. Since you're a n00b as you put it, I'd stick with Fedora or Mandrake. Fedora is my preference just because it's a lot more user friendly and cleaner than Mandrake. ------------------ |

i'm using fedora core 3 right now . i would of went with one of the other distros but i have to ease myself into it, or else i'll up switching back to windows in a matter of minutes. i have to re-download open office 2.0 now because i decided to just "open" it last time...stupid move on my part. ------------------ proverbs 25:7 www.gfa.org - Gospel for Asia www.persecution.com - Voice of the Martyrs |
