you guys didn't know about this? there's a thing called the WhoIs database, it holds all the account information for domain name purchasers. here's another link: http://www.internic.net/whois.html

and if you try to register a domain name with godaddy.com that is already taken, they give you a link to see who has it registered.

The information it shows is whatever information the purchaser of the domain name entered when they bought it. Mine actually has the wrong address...I need to correct it.

You probably can. Its arranged by the DNS provider, which is probably your domain provider.. if you have some kind of admin panel you can, else you'll have to give them a call.

When you register a domain, opt out of the personal info thing. Do a WhoIs on my punksarcasm.co.uk domain, its not registered in my name.
