Ok, I am talking about a test called the MBIT(something like myers briggs indicator type) I am wondering what type you guys are, you can take an online version of the test at:

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

I suggest the lower one, it is more complete, so let me know what you are if you want.
You should be able to find a description of your type by googling it.

I am a /intj

I think when I took this back in college, I was an ENTP (though it could have been ENTJ, I don't remember).

lol.

i think i flunked the test, even tho there were no wrong answers!

ISFJ:

Introverted Sensing with auxiliary extraverted Feeling

The potential ways in which an ISFJ can irritate others include:

avoiding conflict, and not giving criticism when it is needed
not articulating his/her understanding of the situation
not seeing the wood for the trees
failing to state his/her own needs
being too serious
not promoting his/her own ideas or achievements

i already knew i was an intj but i took the test and got the intj type. my preference strengths were %100 introvert, %50 intuitive, %60 something on the thinking and judgeing. so basically i like being alone or with a few very close friends. i'm a realistic day dreamer. i prefer logic over emotions, but i have a heart. and i like to be commited, but able to drop my commitments any time i want...actually i have no problem with commitments, as long as i love(or like in some cases) what i've committed myself to do.

INFJs direct their energy towards the inner world of thoughts and emotions. They use their imagination to come up with new ideas, possibilities and insights, especially in relation to people and important beliefs. They are often good at developing insight into people, though it can often remain unexpressed.

sounds like me, thoughtful, emotional, and understanding other people's feelings

I guess they do ok cause now that I read the description it does fit me. They do much better then horoscopes do which are so vague that ofcourse they'll fit your personality a little bit.

i believe the personality types are useful to help you understand how someone sees things, how they view and interact with the world around them, well, in a basic/generalized kind of way.

edit*

The classic temperament of an INTJ is Promethean, or Phlegmatic, for whom a basic driving force is the search for competence or excellence.

Pro·me·the·an Audio pronunciation of "promethean" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pr-mth-n)
adj.

1. Greek Mythology. Relating to or suggestive of Prometheus.
2. Boldly creative; defiantly original.
n. One who is boldy creative or defiantly original in behavior or actions

phleg·mat·ic Audio pronunciation of "phlegmatic" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (flg-mtk) also phleg·mat·i·cal (--kl)
adj.

1. Of or relating to phlegm; phlegmy.
2. Having or suggesting a calm, sluggish temperament; unemotional.

...the noun from promethean, and number 2 from phlegmatic do fit me...i'm not your average preacher that's for sure

now to show you my mythology knowledge:

promethious was a titan, often known as the 'good' titan, because he gave mortals fire, since he was the titan of fire,
anyway, zeus didn't like that, so he banished promethious to be chained to a rock and have his liver eaten by a bird everyday (his liver grew back overnight)

i just love mythology!
