--- Begin Signature War Instructions---
Version 2.0
Theme:
Take any non-computer saying and convert it to a computer or
programming saying (eg: We're all in the same boat would be:
We're all on the same partition)

Time:
On October 21 the signature war will start
On October 25 the signature war will end
Judges:
There will be no "judges". Everyone will go to a voting booth on
www.jqsoftware.com (it is not set up yet until all the contestants
have submited a signature). You will then choose your vote via a drop
down menu and the results will automatically be emailed to me.I will
then post the results after a day or two. Signature creators can not
vote for their own signature but they can vote for anyone else's.

Disqualification:
There is no disqualification there is only vote discounts if a sig is
too close to anther persons sig. This is done by the first come first
served basis: Whoever gets the sig first keeps it. You may only have one signature.

Changing you Signature:
You can chage your signature at the expense of one vote per change
(this means that you can have negative votes) msplld wrds dOn"T
coNT as vote deduction changes

More Instructions:
When you post your saying change be sure to post the original saying
as well so that we can vote on the crativeness.

Rule Breaking:
Any rules that are broken will cost a contestant 1 vote if is not fixed
whithin 1 day of submition

Now go kill each other for the best signature!!

--- End Signature War Instructions---

My remake: My pc brings all the geeks to the yard and they're like 'super sweet my God' that's right super sweet my God I can let you play it, but I'd have to charge.

LOL ever since I heard that song my bro and I can't stop making up parodies to it because it sounds so stupid LOL the bottom 2 aren't entries but just 2 other remakes we made up

My milkbones bring all the dogs to the yard and they are like 'woof woof bark bark' dang right, woof woof bark bark you can have the treats but we are going to charge......

My garage sale brings all the old ladies to the yard and they are like 'OH Garage Sale my God!' thats right, Garage sale my God I could give you this stuff but I am going to charge!

i'm going with the one in bold, but i figured i'd share some of the other i came up with...though none of them are that good.

the early bird catches the worm
the first comp connected catches the worm

kill two birds with one stone
crash 2 million comps with one os(windows)

stop and smell the roses
stop and get my trojans

behind every cloud is a silver lineing
behind every ip address is another victim

it's always darkest before dawn
it's always bit before byte

two wrongs don't make a right
two xp's don't make a linux

beauty is in the eye of the beholder
nat's in the box labeled router

you can't judge a book by it's cover
you can't judge an os by it's price

proverbs 17:28
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

I don't know if this would work but:

Oringinal:
Ignorance is Bliss

Entry:
Norton is Bliss...

Explaination:
Norton sucks so bad, you don't know what you have on your computer, making you happy, while you couldin reality have 6 viruses and 198 different spy-ware programs.. (my old pc did.. but that was with McAfee... :\ )

You should say: paying too much for software. You can buy Open Source software, you just aren't limited to keeping the software on your comp and not giving copies to your friends.

*Sigh*. The voting thingy doesn't want to work. So please email me (cpu dot crazy at gmail dot com) with your CCN username and the person you vote for. People who haven't submited a signature are welcome to vote.

right arch.
tho i am a supporter of the "free" software movement (nobody say warez....ill get annoyed. ), i do at times feel for the developers of software and games. i think that they deserve payment. Fortunately, the individual developers' pay has little-to-nothing to do with actuall sales of the software (that would fall upon producers, am i right?). so, i understand how hard their work is, and am glad that they do not suffer from piracy.
as far as music goes, i have little pity for big record companies. they are the ones losing money, NOT the musicians. musicians signed under record contracts make most of their money from merchandise. (i believe).

so, there's my views.

but where does the producers and recording industry get the money to pay them?
from us. we stop paying them. they can't pay the ppl.

if people want to be paid for their creations, so be it. it's theirs.

well, that would be the case except these big label producers make so much from sales to begin with the a small drop doesn't reflect on developers.

worse than being a "noob" geek (or "not geek enough") is being a poser. posers in any group of people are ....undesirable.
so if you suck at something, admit it! if you need to learn more , admit it! there is no shame in that. also, i will never openly flame anybody, as I wouldnt want them to do it to me. (yes, i am quite noobly at times, and suceptible to flaming).
