electronica? hehe is that what they call it in the States. Well you know the UK has the best dj's... Dj Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Fergie, Hixxy, Slipmatt, Vibes, Sharky etc etc I like Hard House and Hard Trance, also some old skool happy hardcore. I love drum n bass as well. I like skacore which is like hardcore ska, my fave band has to be Capdown. other then that see my other post. ------------------

I think our favorite DJ is Tiesto, though we like Andy Hunter as well. On di.fm, I usually like listening to the "vocal trance" channel. Happy hardcore is fun when done right (though too often people have no taste for good bass hits), and I like classic electronica too. --clint ------------------ |

some peepl call it electronica....i say electronica cuz peepl too often say "techno" meaning all styles of "electronic music" i think my fav is trance, but I like prog. house, house (and its many other forms). In fact, i think the only kind of electronica i dont like is junglism...its aight...but i would nevr pay for it...or wait for the download. And yes, i agree, many of the good dj's are frm the UK, and others from the rest of Europe. Not too many good american ones tho.... Tiesto is DUTCh.lol. a lot of them are form the netherlands and germany and the UK. Vocal Trance is one of the best kinds of trance (well, there aren't that many) ------------------ globalrant.tk [This message has been edited by crazyishone (edited August 08, 2005).] |

Music ... good stuff. I pretty much listen to anything. Except country and Techno or anything like techno. I pretty much stick with a lot of underground artist's like, Q Strange, D Mented, Dead by 28, Project Dead Man, Twiztid, Necro, Puddle of Blood, ABK, Paris and so on, i could go for days. Yet I also blast, God Forbid, Lamb of God, Die Cast, Opeth, Chimira, Kill Switch Engage, Slip Knot, Mushroom Head, From Autumn to Ashes, and many many more. Yet I also love the classics like George Clinton and the Parliment Funkadelic, De La Soul, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Blag Flag, Misfits, Skynard, Muddy Waters, BB King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and so on, i could keep going. ------------------ |

quote: yeah!!!!! Here's my list! (quoted from my website) Many bands have inspired me...both Christian and secular! The list includes: Nightwish, AC/DC, Dream Theater, Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Kiss, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Queensryche, Tourniquet, In Flames, HammerFall, Opeth, Kamelot, Blind Guardian, Demons & Wizards, Seven Witches, Anthrax, Bon Jovi, Yngwie Malmsteen, Metallica, Scorpions, Van Halen, Black Label Society, Armored Saint, Black Sabbath, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Dio, Guns N' Roses, Nevermore, Ozzy Osbourne, Poison, Queen, Rush, Sepultura, Skid Row, Whitesnake, Cradle Of Filth, Arch Enemy, Halford, Shadows Fall, Soilwork, Alchemist, Aerosmith, Helloween, Jimi Hendrix, Korn , Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tesla, Thin Lizzy, Tool, White Zombie, System Of A Down, Rob Zombie, Immortal, Dee Snider, Flaw, Evanescence and many many more. Now, how do these bands influence me? Well, some of them musically and some of them spiritually. You have to understand, I love all kinds of music and 80's rock is by far my favorite, but the lyrical contents of most of the songs are about sex and drugs. I do not always agree with the lyrics of the songs but I can use the musical influence of the songs to help me in writing my songs...which are about how God has worked in my life. Musically, it draws the attention of people who enjoy this genre of music but lyrically it tells a totally different message than the rest of the bands have to say. ------------------ |
