I am in the usa but I believe so. This is a microsoft world, like it or not. Microsoft is on top of everything... as soon as there is a security issue they are right there to patch it up. Just had to through that in there.

Yeh totally, they have a big office down the road as well. I'm not to bothered about the whole Operating System wars, you use what you wanna use. Whatever is the best tool for the job you do, is fine with me.

There's a pretty good dominace in Guatemala. 111 (registered) linux users live here. I'm one of them!!! (http://counter.li.org/reports/place.php?place=GT)

------------------

1. Make each program do one thing well. To do a new job, build afresh rather than complicate old programs by adding new features.
2. Expect the output of every program to become the input to another, as yet unknown, program. Don't clutter output with extraneous information. Avoid stringently columnar or binary input formats. Don't insist on interactive input.
3. Design and build software, even operating systems, to be tried early, ideally within weeks. Don't hesitate to throw away the clumsy parts and rebuild them.
4. Use tools in preference to unskilled help to lighten a programming task, even if you have to detour to build the tools and expect to throw some of them out after you've finished using them.

It is a third world country... you were right! But it's a great country to live in.. .beautiful (i don't really notice nate's beauty as it is so GUA must be pretty beautiful as people say) and I find it like home... cause it is home.. I was born to American citizens in Guatemala. Thus I will get a dual citizenship!!! Wooo!

Well just to prove the dominance of Microsoft that's how may registered linux users there are.. Linux and Mac users in Guatemala are about even.
