I think people here deserve some sort of applause. Despite some people disagreeing with each other about certain points and some miscommunications, this site generally has the finest people I have seen in forums and everyone handles themselves well and civil unlike many other forums. Well having good virtues is one thing a Christian has. Stay cool. |

Yeah that's what I've been thinking, there are no hostile debates or anything like that. Let's just keep it that way and be humble about it. ------------------ And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. - Isa 32:17 |

A spam topis, is a pointless topic usually to get more posts. I dont really think the topic justified a new thread but meh. --D-SIPL ------------------

Thanks . Yeah, despite some differences, we get along pretty well. After all, we're Christians, and most of us are coders . What we have in common outweighs our differences. ------------------ 7 Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it. 8 Do not tremble, do not be afraid. |

That's true. It's easy to get het up when we have our debates over evolution, old testament history and all the other never-ending sources of disagreement; but at the end of the day those are all details which we'll find the answers too when we die (I assume). There are only a few things we really need to agree on to be Christians, and they are the important things. |

Our differences doi bring up a valid point, alot of what we disagree on doesn't actually matter in slightest. i remember a discussion about how old the world really was, it got heated and my reply was "who cares?". I said this because a debate is great, a heated debate about something that really doesn't matter (lets face it, how long the earth has been here is of no relevance really) is pointless. --D-SIPL ------------------

Boy some people are missing the point. All topics are a waste but some perceive them to be more meaningful than others. The point is that Christians act much better than non Christians in many ways compared to others since you can see it in people’s replies. Who cares about points which I don’t get that but someone else could have posted it and I would be fine, but if some appreciate it then good, if some do not then there is their problem. |

haha, yes i agree (with first post, i have NO idea what arch is talking about) i feel MUCH MUCH more comfortable posting here on CCN than i do at say, codersworkshop. (you know, some people (not naming names) can kind of annoy you, or just seem mean) Everybody here, is, well quite frankly, a heck of a lot nicer, and i get to "chat" with a bunch of people who love christ and follow god, AND (as a bonus) are interested in programming like I am.
