Christ--the Only Complete Realist
No man knows how bad he is till he has tried very hard to be good. There is a silly idea floating around that good people do not know what temptation is. This is an obvious lie. Only those who try to resist temptation know how strong it is. After all, you find out the strength of the German Army by fighting it, not by giving in. You find out the strength of the wind by trying to walk against it, not by lying down. A man who gives in to temptation after five minutes simply does not know what it would have been like an hour later. That is why bad people, in one sense, know very little about badness. They have lived a sheltered life by always giving in. We never find out the strength of the evil impulse inside us until we try to fight it: and Christ, because He was the only man who never yielded to temptation, is the only man who knows to the fullest what temptation means-the only complete realist (C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity).

Try resisting to scratch an itch, it gets pretty hard after awhile, and if you forget about it, you automatically scratch it, cause it's a habit. It kinda helps to imagine scratching it, cause then your brain gets tricked, but it's not flawless. Strain your braaaiiiiin.

This is pretty much related to the pain thing I was talking about on your other thread. Recognize how it works and you can own it, gg no re noob style, omgwtf aimbot take it off, "h4x" and thus your itch is pwnd. But I don't condone the use of hacks, nothing is more satisfying than beating a hacker with only your legit skills and some caffeine.
