The Catholic Church tried to do it and could not, so they tried to disprove it with tape and it backfired on them so they do not talk about the tape. Lol the Muslims police and other religions search the priest before getting the fire to see if he does not have anything on him that would indicate that he uses matches or of the sort. And the fire came even before matches were around.

You hear about Passover more even though there 1.3% Jewish people, even though there more Christian Orthodox people. Even in the world wars more Christian Orthodox people died but they do not get mentioned and the stats undercount how many.

I don't know if the miracle is real or not. But supposedly the (maybe this is a secondary miracle) the fire that is passed around will not burn you. The people prove this by running thir fingers over and through the flame. I'm a little skeptical of at least this part of the miracle, because if you look at all the video of no one seems to have their fingers over the flame very long (kinda like the walking on fire hot coals trick)

She decided to wave the flame in her face, to me she definitely seems to feel it!

But I truely believe God does miracles and I'm NOT saying this is not a miracle. I just wouldn't want to be one who knowingly and purposefully decieves people in the name of God (usually for money or self power)

The video clips I watched generally tended to be in two categories:

-Flashes, but to be honest, in a video clip a flash can be anything .

-People playing with a holy fire. Of course, I do not know the properties of the sticks they are holding, so it is difficult to say whether the flames are simply burning at a low temperature, or whether this is truly a miracle. The flame is actually one of the cooler parts of most fires . . .

Unfortunately, it is pretty difficult to tell for sure without going there myself.

This is something I should go and see for myself - should I ever get the money and time.

There is one question, though: The miracles are cool, but is the presence of God felt there? God is, of course, the most important factor in miracles.

The fire started well before matches were around, and well before most Christian sects came about. Also read the part about the column.

As for the tape that that Catholic Church has is of inside Christ's tomb.

I agree that it would be cool to see this first hand.
