You've read it correctly!

Current sitting at about 130 pages, the Christian Independent Game Developer Guide is still growing and hoping to find a publisher before the end of the summer.

The game will cover a lot of basics about game development, such as finding game styles, development documents, choosing a team, market research, market trends, Keeping the faith etc. All the chapters will integrate basic game development along with the Christian Life style and how to create a game for the Christian Audience!

I will post more information on demand, also may need a few hands for proofreaders!

PastorRob,

I just looked at the web site for the game and some screen shots, the game
looks promsing. I would be intrested in the path you took in developing
the networking side of the game, if any. Do you plan to make this an
topic in your book? After working for a few major game developers, its
refreshing to see someone actually developing games that have a good moral
base and is christ centered. I will be following your web site for updates.

Networking, ah the joys of networking

DirectX is handy tool to have, DirectDraw, Direct3d, "DirectPlay"

I will cover these topics briefly inside of the book though it will include some sample source code and options networking paths, such as various Socket Controls that are out there.

Sincerely

-Rob
