? I'm trying to promite a Christian Gaming Site. When I post about it on secular web sites, I get replays like nice site, etc. When I post on Christian sites, I get smart but comments. Why is that? BTW, or link logo is on CCGR's front page. [This message has been edited by wfeather (edited February 14, 2005).] |

Looks good, but none of the forums work for me. They all say "Not found". Same if I try clicking any of the "Recent topics" links on the main page. I'm using Mozilla Firefox. |

Same here. I was impressed in your music selection though. Overall it looks nice! Once you get the link situation figured out I will probably add your site to my favorites. |

Sorry ArchAngel, Just keep getting a lot of slack from Christian Sites. One even deleted the post. I started CGO sort of like a Mission, and to get slammed by other Christinas (speaking of the other site that deleted the post) was dishearten to say the least. Try this link The site is having some problems with some firefox users. Something I have yet to figure out. I use Firefox with no problem. I'll keep working on this. Thanks for the visit. |

Feel free to post a link to your site in the "Anything Goes" forum on my board, and in the post say I told you to so that the other moderators don't give you any problems. |

quote: sorry it was like that. glad that ccgr treated you better. however, unlike me, and like this site, they treat those kinda stuff nicely. the link worked on the ccgr link. pretty good. ------------------ |

The forums are still not working for me, even if I use IE6. I can get to the main forum page, but if I click on any specific forum (e.g. "Halo 2" which is http://christiangamers.net/forum/forum-4.html ), I get a 404 "Not found" error ("The requested URL /forum/forum-4.html was not found on this server"). Same for all the forums I tried. |

your problem might be people who think war games are evil, not that they are, but some people are like that. ------------------ I dont like siggys. They are to hard to think up :( |
wfeather Junior Member Posts: 6 From: Registered: 02-13-2005 |
Ok found reason why you get 404 error. If you are not logged in you get them. If you are logged in , no error. I tryed it and thats what I got. If some one on here could try that would be great. |

I did right after I posted that last message... I guess that was just before you posted Maybe if you were to check if they are logged in, and if not, redirect them to a "not logged in" page? ------------------ I dont like siggys. They are to hard to think up :( |

LOL, I might have to, but these boards, the CCGR boards (which I'm a mod at...) and Arch's boards might be about as much as I can handle |

Nice site. I will check it out more when I have some time. Don't have any of the games listed that you play though! Mainly played the 'Tribes' games over the last few years, but did do some BF1942 for a while (amongst others). Maybe see you on the CGO boards. Rhy |

Looks cool, but the front page is hard to read. I'll join when I can make something that is game-wise, worth while. Till then I'm not a game programmer. Or wait a sec.... I am a gamer. Hmmm...... ------------------ [This message has been edited by CPUFreak91 (edited April 19, 2005).] |
