Every year we make them, well some of us make them some don't. Some of us keep them and others don't. Every year i try to make a one that i can keep but i fall short. So now i'm going to just make some goals that i'm going to keep during my life and i'm going to strive to complete them them.

2. Lose weight and maintain a healthy weight
3. Learn a Martial Art
4. Finish cleaning my room
5. Finish my paintball team and get a sponsor
6. Travel to Washington, DC to see the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and pay respect to my family
7. Backpack in Glacier National Park
8. Learn how to cook well
9. Get back into my werewolf game
10. Continue to do well and finish College

My resolutions are:

- to become an OpenGL guru
- to actually finish some of my current projects and get my company generating some consistent income
- to get to work on time in the morning, and leave at a reasonable time as well
- to help this site become a greater resource for programmers, especially of the C/C++ variety.

Thanks outcast. I'm hoping to find someone over the summer. Before I head to college it'd be nice to get to know someone a little closer. Good luck to all of your resolutions. My other one is to go on a seefood diet. I see food and I eat it! God bless!

I dont make new years resolutions, for the same reason I dont promise any thing. Promise's and Resolutions are always to easy to break.

actually Jesus says not to forswear yourself at all. what can you promise God that He doesn't already require?

Heh thats why I said it. I never see the point in making new years resolutions. So thats why made that one. A complete oxymoron

On a side note, I do love that song by Kutless - Vow

I didn't think their second album was as good as the first. It's down to personal taste. My bro thinks the second is so much better then the first.

It's a great song, especially for this time of year.

I do have a few goals set out for this year tho. No they're not resolutions, just goals I set out to accomplish every year.

1. Get more of my poems published (got two so far)
2. Lose a lil more weight
3. Get into college

Nothing to hard really. Just realistic goals to accomplish. Just as hard to achieve, but easier to look at and accomplish then resolutions, since many of them dont ever get done.

I've published a couple poems as well, but the first one I think wasn't that great.... anyhow, I write them to express myself and use them as an outlet. If you wanted I could send you one maybe, or possibly someone should set up a post for poetry.

yeah sure I'll post one i have had published. Not so sure the ohter one I have had published would be good here on the site. It's very dark and was written when I depressed and suicidal.
