ok, all you linux gurus out there. i have a dsl connection with bellsouth. how hard would it be to set it up on a linux computer? i'm thinking of installing slackware or fedora on my second hard drive and i want to get an internet connection on it. out of all the times i've installed linux i've never been able to connect to the internet with it, which really makes me wonder why i ever installed it.

Your DSL with Bellsouth. Do you have to "dial-up" to use it (like aol) or is it always on through a router or some other device?
If it is "always-on". Just pop on slackware, red hat, or (just to try it out quickly) knoppix. Next just open up one of their built-in browsers (probably FireFox) and start her up.
If that doesnt work I'm not sure what else will. I'm just learning Linux myself.
Good Luck!
