So far, the best I can find for hosts that specifically handle files are Fileburst for smaller traffic (about $1/Gig, $5 minimum monthly) and Filekicker if you get more traffic (about 50 cents/Gig, $15 minimum monthly).

That's not bad and I will probably start with the one and then move to the other if necessary. However, considering paying one bill for web hosting and another for file hosting, are there any good web hosting companies that allow (and have good quality for) the download hosting to make a better combined deal?

(I've used Simtel and Winsite archives and they were good in the past, but nowadays they have too many ads, and more and more shareware sites want direct links to files.)
