Lately I have been playing with an EW server on my home LAN.. but what would be really cool is if someone had access to a T1 or better connection and would be able to host a 24/7 EW server. I have considered doing this myself, but I have a poor net connection.

Personally, online gaming is like twice as fun due to the fact that you interact with other people who share your gaming interests... and with EW, the people you would be playing with are probably God fearing.

If anyone is interested or knows anyone that might be interested, we should get a server going. I would be willing to assist in getting the server/config files set up, and help test it out.

I'm going to try and setup a dedicated server at the end of this year or early next if at all possible.

cool, cool. Let me know if you need any help testing it. I know you are in Canada.. and I'm in the US, so our time zone is pretty close.

Hey Mac,
Any word on the server status?

On another note, I am in the process of starting up an EW fan site.. It will have maps, console commands, demos, etc., and I am looking for someplace to host the site. Do you have any suggestions?

We have fans...

Anyway, Mack had a dedicated server up but took it down recently. Not sure when it'll be back up.

Last I heard Pat is configuring it right now, he added some more ram and did a clean wipe of the system. I'll email him and ask him how it's going with that.

Maybe ask Gamespy if you could take PlanetEW.com? I'm not entirely sure, you could have it hosted by us and then we could link to it instead of the manual on the main TGS/EW page.

Another possiblity is that you could get CCGR.org or christiangaming.com host it?

I'm on the CCGR forum... looks like they might bust out with some game servers. looks like they might do Dungeon Siege or something. might want to to talk to them about it.

You can grab it from CCGR.org if you like:

If you run into any problems with it, email us at: tgssupport@twoguyssoftware.ca

Strange. The game installs fine, when I run it. There's music playing and I use the arrows and I definitely hear selections - But I've no picture. Just a black screen. any ideas what that is?

Send me an email: mack@twoguyssoftware.ca and I'll help you out, I think it's probably video card drivers.

Works fine now.
That game gives me the creeps. So dark and eerie with demon wolves jumping out of the shadows at me!
