Just had some really good news today. Some of you may remember that I recently took a new job writing tech articles for a PC gaming magazine. Well I received an email today from the magazines publisher asking if I'd be interested in writing a book for them!! It's a pretty boring book on upgrading PC's (Chippy, I might send you a free copy, LOL) but I think it's a good way to get the old boot a bit further into the doorway. Anyway, I was just pretty stoked with the news, and needed to blurt it out. I must say that I think this has been a great blessing from God. Ever since I curbed some of my spiritually destructive behaviour, he has been pouring the blessings out on me. Thankyou Lord! Amen. |

Yeah I'm pretty thrilled. I'm doing the lot. I'm still negotiating the exact content to be included but the book is called "The PC Upgrade Guide" (highly original heh?), and it's a newbie guide to adding components, choosing cpu/mb, configuring windows etc. May be room for a modding section as well, but we'll see. Pretty much bread and butter stuff, but I'm not complaining. It's due on March 4th, so gotta get my finger muscles warmed up, and raring to go! |

Well done Jas, I am well pleased for you. **Chippy, I might send you a free copy**. That would be brilliant I will hold you to that. Please can you make sure that you send me a copy which uses hyroglifics to address the components as that is how my components are labelled. ------------------ |
