I have kept most of my struggles to myself while I've been a member here, but now that I'm through some significant probs, I'd like to share some of my experience with you (it won't take long..) I left my cushy government job, as a technical writer about a year ago. I did it for two reasons. Firstly, I was sick of writing about mundane financial software and government legislative changes to the superannuation industry: instead I wanted to have a crack at becoming a 3D modeller/animator. Secondly, my wife needed to return to work for a brief time, and so I decided that I might look after our toddler for a time. |

Yes I do go to 3D Cafe for a bit of inspiration every now and then, it is a worthy site. Had a great potty training day yesterday. Elijah (my bub) went almost all day without wetting his pants, and even did a 'number 2' in the right place (thanks to a chocolate bribe). Later I was letting him play in my pride and joy, hand-crafted timber sailing boat, when I heard the unmistakable pitter patter of yellow droplets...should have used more 'anti-fouling' I think |
