I want to know how to alter the registry. I am ok right now with only reading the registry, but also would like to change it.I am making a game with cheat codes and have an external program that can alter the registry. If anybody know, please, tell me how ASAP. ------------------ |

I would assume you are talking about Windows since you want to edit the registry. Depending on the type of Windows you have, you would go to 'Start' and then 'Run'. At the prompt window you enter 'regedit'. This will take you to the Registry for editing and viewing. You would then find whatever key you are looking to change and double click on it. It should pop up another window which will allow you to change the value for that key. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ONLY CHANGE THE KEYS YOU MADE FOR YOUR GAME AS YOU CAN REALLY MESS YOUR SYSTEM UP IF YOU CHANGE THE WRONG KEYS! |
