Midnight Fire sounds good.

BTW, you're tecnically not a corporation, since you don't trade stock publicly. If you plan on being anything other than a sole proprietership, you're going to need to be familiar with the different types of businesses and what needs to be done for your type of business.

You'll also need to check to see if you need to register your business name if you plan on being a sole proprietership. Other than that, the legal requirements for a sole proprietership are minimal. All you have to do to become one is to sell a product .

cool.
I'm going through a name change for my game company(though it's technically not a company, it's a group of friends who make freeware... for now...)
I might put up some choices for the new name.

later!

Err . . .

Explain??

I am assuming too much - I forgot, different countries have different laws about businesses - which country are you in?

Who's changing names?

GUMP Inc. was incorporated over a year ago by myself. The Infinitum team is looking at the possibility of going under this corporation for doing business deals (which probably I'll be handling since I pay all the bills ). Brenton doesn't like the GUMP name and wants to change it, we're doing an online poll to gauge opinions. Unfortunately, www.veritas.com is already taken... but Midnight Fire may be a better choice anyway as that has gotten a good response from the polls we've added it to.

Anyway, I don't see this as a high priority thing. If we go through with it, I think we should wait until we're close to release, therefore not delaying us because of working on a fairly unimportant issue. Besides, by that time we'll defenitely sure of wanting to change or not and we may even come up with a better name.

Took a second look at my business book, you're right - there are different kinds of corporations. Sorry about that.
