So why did I give this that title "Give Up N Burn". I think im giving up on my old angers towards others. Its been a long walk but I'm finly burning my old grudges. Still there is one last argument I cant seem to beat. I feel useless and as if I lack any real value. I eat, sleep, sin, punch the wall, and wish that I could just get a normal job!

Well I'm not perfect and I have to walk my walk I supose. I'm not thrilled about it but I will. I'm going to fight with the SSA over disability, try to be a loving papa, and hope that some how I am a light to others.

I dont know why im posting this but it just seemed something I needed to do at the time.

I have a lovely wife and 2 great kids, my boy just passed his car driving test and has been chauffering my missus around, he took her down to HOMEBASE in our car and loaded up a Christmas Tree a week ago, my daughter is writing stories - just like you Angel and hoping to get a publisher, she has written some really ace (short) poetry

yes it's good to take stock of what you've GOT, for a few minutes, we are lucky, I feel lucky to have what I've got, a house, a car - 2 kids who have turned out well, I feel "accepted" on this site and have made a few friends here, we are all pretty lucky in different ways, ok we all have problems too but overall...... we're doing ok

I have thought about making a book one day (nonfiction or fiction with a serious social message) and thought about iUniverse before, but that information gave me a lot better insight on how it works out with all the POD stuff.

I still might try POD because the kind of subjects I'm interested in could have a good audience for promoting through the internet. But because of learning more about POD publishing experiences of other people, if I did that I would know not to expect any bookstores to carry the book and to just focus mainly on promoting it online. It looks like for some kinds of books, POD would not be good and better to just break out the Writer's Market and try regular publishing. So I'm really glad that you posted that info.

Your girl may want to know something about poetry. Many places wont promote them or even look at them. The books that I have seen with poetry often have small stories to go with the poem and or scripture. Ask her to write down what the poem means to her or maybe some notes of wisdome. I dont know how old she is but I thought I would mention that.

As for were I have been I have been doing a lot of 3D work. Skins and other stuff. If I had a place to post my progress I would. Krylar was e-mailed a little of what I was working on. I dont know if he saw it or not. He may have taken it as a bad e-mail just cuz I dont often e-mail him. Who knows .

Anyways I need to get back to my work. Oh and for those of you who have followed my SSA post. The judge is looking my case over now. If he/she dosnt aprove me I will be in cort 20 days ofter or should be. If my wife dosnt give birth by this upcomeing 31 (friday) they will be inducing. SO... soon I will be even more busy. (thats the way I like things anyways)
