Should I be offended since my game is a text adventure at its core?

Heh, are those Vic-20 and C64 screens?

I used to be into text adventures (Infocom mostly) in a big way. I probably wrote about half a dozen of them for the C64 myself back when I was in highschool. Fun stuff back then, but I find it hard to get into them nowadays.

Do I remember those days?, I'll never forget them!.
That game above was written with a programme called "The Quill" and the pic was done by "Quill Illustrator". You had to do the pics with co ordinates (line x90, y45) etc, or if you had a kempston joystick you could "draw" with that!!!!!!!!
It was always my desire to write those games and I wrote a couple but never sold them, I gave them away to friends or put them on my bbs (an early internet for those of you who are young) called "Deep Thought".
The game listed by you was a late one about 85/86 I think. There were much earlier games without any graphics and just a one or two word parser like MUD. Infocom made some great ones like the Zork series, Hitchikers guide to the galaxy, Beauraucracy etc.
Believer, those are Spectrum screens, from the Sinclair Spectrum 48k (16k ram/32k rom)A computer known as "The rubber keys of doom"!.
Yes I have been using computers since I was 14 (1976) and they have come a looooooonnnngggg way!.
And chiefy, I would love to play one of those games again!, was even thinking of making a Christian Adventure game in Blitz Basic!

God Bless All <><
