quote: 1) i think names are important, at least the hebrews did.. however i won't say that a name with a bad meaning has cursed a kid's life or anything.. But why not get a good meaning.. and i suppose it will be angels perogative to say whether you ruined the thread or not.. ------------------ |

babys aren't "saved", since they dont have the intelegence, or knowlege to make a choise of heaven or hell. up to the age of acountav=bility, the age where a child really can understand who God and the devil are, is the line. Before that time, if they were to die, they would go to heaven, because they were inocent still, but after that line, they have to make the choise all of us have to make: to accept, or reject (which is the same as not making a decition). So ya, there not christians exactly. |

yeah i think kind of like that.. but i don't see that as doctrine.. basically i don't know where the line is drawn.. i don't understand it, i don't think there is enough biblical info to make solid doctrines on it.. but i do believe in God's character, in his overwhelming love, grace and justice, his goodness, and i can trust him, that in whatever way he manages it, he is good.. and it would be nice for me to understand it.. but whether i know the details or not doesn't change the fact that God is God.. ------------------ |
